Dr. Maribel Pedrozo
Dr. Maribel Pedrozo has well deserved the name of /nickname “the alchemist of beauty”. As seen on E! Entertainment, People en Español, Univision and NBC-Telemundo, Columna Estilos.com, Mega Tv among others, this doctor has a real passion for medicine and likes to communicate and transmit her knowledge in a simple yet direct way, helping her patients develop beauty habits that can change their lives.
Born in Barranquilla Colombia, she started her journey traveling around the world obtaining knowledge from prestigious universities and graduating/receiving her title as a General surgeon.
In 1994 she arrives at United States and in 2001 fulfilled one of her biggest dreams, the opening of (her private clinic) BIOBELL ORIENTAL MEDSPA in the glamorous Coral Gables, Miami, where she combines old science with the newest products and treatments in the market, the legendary holistic medicine of the oriental with the traditional occidental medicine, managing the perfect balance of the skin, body, health and mind.
Creating her own line of vitamins and skin products BIOPIEL is also one of her biggest achievements, but is her personal touch perhaps what makes the difference. Being board certified LMT, advanced medical massage- on how to manage/handle the pain, Board certified in skin care with a master in aesthetic medicine and Master in acupuncture and oriental medicine, make her one of the best medical consultant and beautician nowadays. All this grant / earn her thousands of followers around the world including actresses, singers and TV personalities that learn about the new concept for the wellness of the body and skin through her participations in radio shows, columns in newspapers, magazines and multiple interviews in national and international TV shows.
Her power of communication and talent/wisdom lead her to be the spoke person as an educator in seminars about anti-aging, nutrition, development of businesses and spas in international programs where you can learn not only about vitamins, antioxidants and organic products, but also about happiness, relief and the tools to get them. Her motto/mission is helping you find not only your external but also your inner beauty.
In addition, Dr. Maribel is also the executive management of the aesthetics part of the Athena Clinic, where he and his brother, the renowned research dermatologist, Alejandro Pedrozo III MD, owner and chief physician of the same, make a team work, professional excellence and quality. Dr. Alejandro Pedrozo III, is also Medical Director of BIOBELL Oriental MedSpa.
